Hey guys if you dont mind, got a couple of questions as I've had the car..

How do you disable the sound when you lock the doors thru the remote control?

Also, in the headlights in the front, is the light above the blinkers suppose to be lighting up too? (Mine doesn't)

Lastly, A friend of mine told me that If i wanted to warm up the car and leave it for a few mins, when I close the door..it would auto lock itself. I only have one key for the time being and I was just wondering if this is true?

Thanks, im not really what I should search for to find these answers..

This is the exact same car I bought a few weeks ago, right down to the color and miles (75K). Mine is sporting a fresh new tint job, though.

I have warmed mine up and it hasn't autolocked. Congrats!

hold down the lock and unlock buttons until the lights flash.

Hey sooner, I wanted to test it out today so i put the key in and turned it on to warm it up, and left the car for about ~5-10 mins and when I came back, the doors were locked. I had my remote w/ me so I got back in just fine but should that happen?

nope, it should be doing that...it should only lock when the key is out of the ignition and you forget to arm your car..

Well the car is on, so its in the ignition...so it shouldn't autolock like it is right now correct? It was being warmed up

I'll read up more on that thread

I looked for a long time for the same car, couldnt find it, so I bought my 98 to replace a totaled 99. Now I bought a Pearl White 01 Lexus IS300, so the Max is on the way out. Gonna post it real soon. Sorry! I love my Maxima, but the IS is too nice!

Nice car, and congrats!
