5.5 gen with green tint =D

ok not really but i just thought it was cool cuz the windshield tint looks green/blue when it's overcast haha it is almost clear when sunny. this is that vkool tint that blocks out a ton of heat and it's only 70% which is almost clear. pics are from my camera phone so the quality isn't as good. friggin lost my camera at universal studios =(

oh yeah i got the rest of the car retinted again problly like my 4th or 5th time i lost count cuz i can't decide if i want black or metallic/reflective =/ but so far i like black tint a lot =D

oh the dot matrix thing on the back windshield came out crappy so had to get black vinyl put over it. it was put on the outside so far it's ok i guess =/

anyone retinted their cars more than 5times? lol

Looks good...some of my friends have retinted their cars around 3 times in MA, and if it starts to look crappy or won't stick to some parts all you have to do is find a way for the window to crack or break and it gets replaced for free no questions asked in MA...nice glass policy. Last time my windshield got a crack in it, I called my insurance company and in a matter of 45 minutes somebody had already come and finished installing my new windshield.

I can't believe you can get away with your tint...three of my buddies went darker than 35% (legal limit in MA as of last year...it's 50% as of 2007) and all three of them had fix-it tickets within 3 weeks of switching to 20% all around with nothing on the windshield. One lives in Mansfield, one in Foxboro, and one in Bellingham. I stuck with 35% since I had my car because I didn't want to have to deal with retinting my car or getting hassled for other things like clear sidemarkers after they pull me over for tint.

i've had 50% on my windshield before. i wouldn't go any darker than that. although it looks good and all but i don't think 15% on windshield will be able to see out that well at night i wouldn't go darker than 50% for safety sakes. the 70% that i have on my windshield is perfect. i just wanted it to block heat coming from the front. i was just surprise that it looks greenish from the front haha vkool tint rocks! they're pratically clear and blocks out so much heat. expensive as hell tho...$250 just to tint the front windshield and another 60 to tint the sunroof

You'll wish you went darker on the windshield. I've got 30% on mine and I'm thinking about getting it redone 15%. Windshield tint is essential. I hate riding in cars that don't have it after I've had it on mine.

You need to shop around for tint shops. I got my whole car tinted, which was 2 layers on all sides, 5& and 15% on top, and 30% on the whole windshield, all for $270. They do windshields around here for less than $100.

ya the tint shop charged me $50 for the front windshield when i had regular black...$60 for the metallic ones and $250 for the vkool one i have now...honestly it's too expensive for just the windshield but this tint is awsome! it blocks out as much heat as if i had 15% metallic tint that i had before. it's said to block out 80-90% of the solar heat while regular tint blocks out about 40-50% or something like that. i've done a lot of research on that tint and decided to dish out the cash for it i think i've spent almost 2g's on just tinting and retinting my car in the past 2 years =/

Wow. I didn't know there was any tint that cost that much more than just regular black.
