Alfa Romeo and Ferrari just sitting out there? what is that? a car graveyard? max looks good. i think you mentioned it before, but what is the weight of your rollers?
Which tires did you go with again? With the wheel/tire assembly being around 43lbs, 6lbs isn't going to make THAT huge a difference, but it'll be noticeable.
As far as the difference, they are way easier to spin (not on purpose) and instead of getting ridiculous wheel-hop I get a nice clean spin as long as I don't totally flog it. As far as handling, the car just feels more solid. I am still on S-Tech's so the car doesn't have that complete flat that I long for but the tires are not my limiting factor at this point. When driving hard it's harsh transitions and making sure not to overload the front with braking on entry.
The car handles great, but I think if someone who didn't drive with the S-Tech's on a Maxima pressed it they could end up in some real trouble (see: sweepers with moderate braking causing the front end to load up and the rear to rotate...) I am positve with my old setup on D2's that this car would outhandle most daily drivers on the road (in the dry).
And as far as total weight loss goes Morpheus, I'm sure you are familiar with how unspring weight translate into much higher static weight loss as well as the distrubution of the weight and it's effects. I can tell you the FD's clearly felt lighter as I handled both of them seconds apart.

Oh, I'm plenty familiar. Just saying you're exaggerating a little.
Wish we had a few more 4th gens here willing to destroy some mountain roads.
