What were the reasons for running Progress in the front? Can you feel a difference? Does it sit lower? From the pictures it looks to be the same height as mine with Maxspeeds.

If your a tightwad, look into getting Tokico HP Blues. It'll save you a copy dollars and seemed to be a perfect match for the Maxspeeds. Don't know about the Progress springs though.
I just installed Tokio HP's with Maxspeeds a lil' over 1000 miles ago and the ride is perfect. I cut the bumpstops on all four and have not bottomed out as of yet. The ride is smooth and comfortable.

I blacked out the chrome window trim using "window trim blackout tape" from Pep Boys. It's just matte black vinyl that comes in about a 1.5" strip.
The cops don't bug me about tint, they don't care around OKC. I've got 15% on top of 5% on all sides and 30% on the whole windshield
I am running progress on the front/maxspeed in the rear purely for looks. I'm running stock shocks so I'm obviously putting looks/cost before performance anyway. The progress fronts sit probably .5" lower than the maxspeeds and I think maxspeeds all around make the car look saggy in the rear end. I hate it when cars looks saggy in the rear. When I look at a car's stance, I look at fender gap, and this setup makes it exactly equal front/rear. I am considering the full coilover setup to make the car handle better, I don't expect a huge improvement with just shocks.
Blake, did you blow ANOTHER tranny????
I bought the springs from Van about 2 weeks ago.

no this is still the same one that i blew in december. i finally got all the money i needed to buy everything, but it just happens that i have to wait for the tranny to come from japan. i should have it in about 2 or 3 weeks. my clutch, flywheel, and axles showed up last week, and my headers should be here this week. just sucks having to wait for the tranny.

I'm in Norman. I'm probably not gonna get wheels, at least for awhile, they cost too much to not help performance. I've got other hobbies, so I can't go broke on the car. I do a little here and there.

That looks amazing. I love the all black out look. Just dont get black rims. The wheels have a nice contrast to them.

Great looking car and beautiful scenery. It's just too flat down here in South Florida!

I could tolerate the flatness of south florida haha. Most of Oklahoma is flat too, a lot of people that live in Oklahoma don't even know about the mountains in the eastern part. Shh it's a secret

Blacked out headlights and tint really make a black 5th gen look 1000x better. Nice work!

Thanks man, I copied my window trim off of your car that I saw at Maxus 2 years ago I guess, I can't take credit for that
The corner lights I painted with one light coat of gloss black Krylon Fusion plastic paint and then a whole lot of clear. The lights still show pretty well at night surprisingly.
