Lost 36 pounds yesterday

Christmas came early and I got some SSR Type-C's 17x7.5. They weigh 13 lbs each on my scale at home while the stock SE wheels weigh 22 lbs each. Here's some pics.

That looks awesome with the drop ya have. Time to add a BBK maybe?

Can't argue with 13 lb wheels.... wish I had the cash for some of those...

Ive seen a couple 5.5 gens with the front and rear with no sides. I guess you can pull it off.

I don't have them because I do not think they are needed. I think it looks good w/o them.

My one problem with those rims is that the spokes curve so far away from the edge it makes the rim look a lot smaller than it really is. I think they look nice, but I would never buy them myself.

It looks great, nice choice of wheels. As for the side skirts the stock ones look fine.

nice rims! I think if you drop a bit lower it would make the 17's look bigger.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I do notice a little quicker acceleration and a little bit smoother ride now. And I went from the stock SE wheels to these.

Why did you go with such small wheels? My 5th gen came with 17's and they looked really small.

And I agree that your car needs the Stillen side skirts to complete the look with the front and rear lips.

ssr comp-c are the best. just dont bend or curb them since there is no way to get a replacement.
