Lusty2kmax's 2000-->2002 front conversion. (7 pictures; 1.30mb)

After the headlight install, we decided to go take some pictures of the new front end. The pictures didn't turn out that well because it was 30 degrees, with 30 mph wind gusts. That caused the camera and me to shake. Blurry pictures resulted from this! Here are the pictures anyways.

This is the last time you will see my car with SSRs. They are sold to a maxima.org member. I will do another photoshoot when my new wheels are on.

Thanks guys, for all the compliments. The pictures could have been much better if it wasn't so cold and windy! I used differing apertures of f5.6 to f9.0 with a 15 to 30 second shutter speed (mostly 30 sec). I underexpose all my shots, so glare won't mess them up.

Here is a very blurry picture showing the temperature:

P.S. My cousin is looking for some foglights (cracked doesn't matter). If you guys have a set for sale or know someone that does, please let me know.

Steven, I want my new wheels to be a surprise. You will see them soon enough. They were discontinued years ago, and they are extremely rare in the U.S.

The conversion, including the hood, bumper, grille, headlights and paint cost a little over $700. Most of those pictures are blurry because the wind was moving the camera around when the shutter was open. The "before" picture is clear, because it was from another day. Another thing that can account for the blurry pictures is because the camera was being used under its optimal operating temperature. It is very apparent in the high-resolution pictures.

Here are some other pictures (clear):

Hi, do you know where the diy is for this? Do you have any pictures or write-ups? They say you have to replace the wheel well piece too? is this correct?

Thanks.

Dude, I know but there is no answer!

Even for a new thread I posted no can seem to find the answer. So I think it deserves an all out front to find the answer. Sorry peeps for bumping **** all over the place but I just got this bumper and want to know about any roadblocks I might hit along the way.

Dr.Omed.

P.S. As of 5.47 p.m. mst. there is STILL noone who can point me (and others on this board) in the right direction.

Like this pictures are old..... We've seen these pics a while back and now they are posted up again. What we want is to see NEW PICS from other members or upgrades at least.

Admittedly...I like the look of the 5.5 front more than the 5.0, I think it has more defined lines - good job on the conversion
