Edit: Oops @ subject topic, minus one "Maxima" .. must be overtired
Not sure if many of you would've seen the Australian Spec Maxima.. The aussie ones came in three flavours for the year of 93/94.. you had your stock executive with none of the bells and whistles, then the Ti without *optional leather interior, then of course the one with the leather inc. - There were no manual variants sold, all were autos.
The Ti automatically incl. rear spoiler, elec. sunroof, drivers airbag, cd player, etc. etc. etc.
My car incl. the black leather interior, of which mind you is in almost perfect condition, most by this age are cracked and faded from the sun but i'll let the
pics speak for themselves with the condition of mine.
Took me quite a long time to find one this well looked after. Being 12 yr old, its not done too much work at 150k (kms) on the odo.. I havent taken any shots under the hood yet but i'll just mention that all the original felt lining on the firewall and underside of the hood etc. is as perfect as the day the car rolled out of manu. - the engine is SPOTLESS, its as though the previous (and only) owner has used some sort of polishing stuff to maintain perfection in there on a regular basis.. he also provided me with full service history from day 1, all done at Nissan right up until when i bought it a little over 1 month ago.
For more pics of exterior and interior,
click here.. (each pic is a clickable thumbnail) - sorry about the quality of the shots, ****ty digi cam :/
Just installed a diff sound system and dvd setup last week (as you can see in some of the pics) .. that incl. a subby professionally installed in the boot. The DVD player actually plays DivXs / XViD movie files burnt onto a dvd as well, not to mention a dvd full of mp3s (4.7GB = a lotta mp3s!) .. very handy.
The only other thing I plan to do to the car is fit the nissan badge back on the front grille when I get it (some dirty bastard decided he'd like a free badge when the car was in the hands of the previous owner). I have just won the bidding on EBay for one at a good price so i'm happy.
And the other thing is to pull the spotties off the front bumper. Dont like 'em .. dont need 'em.. just gotta find the motivation to pull 'em off.
