I saw some of your postings in the forums and was hoping you could help me.

I have an altima 3.5 SL 2008, 34K Upon initial acceleration of the vehicle I hear a metal clank sound, like to metal pieces hitting each. I noticed it only makes that notice on initial acceleration when starting the vehicle. it does not reproduce if I come to a stop. go in P and to D again. But it makes that sound consistently.

During the summer I also had an incident driving on the highway, switching into the manual mode, and the screen would not change. it stayed on D instead of showing a number of the "gear" 1-6. It fixed itself next time I restarted the vehicle.

There is also a slight thump felt between 1-2 gear on acceleration.

What are your thoughts on these 3 above? can you help me with what can cause these so I can take it to the dealer, as they are saying they cannot repair anything since their computer is not find any errors.
