    hey. I did a manual tranny swap on my 98 maxima. I have oneconnnectr leftover and I cannot find where to connect it. it is a ground wire. I saw on one of your threds you had a picture of the same ground wire that was loose on youre car. where do I connect that wire. thank you

    hello i have a 2003 gle wit bose 6cd changer and pruchased a used factory bose oem navi from a 2002 model. i also purchased the proper harness which im sure you know is a whoooooole lot of wiring.     thanks for the reply. I would appreciate the recomendation for a good mechanic since i think I probably need the tensioners and guides replaced. I would love to do it myself but it seems to be a little beyond my capabilities. Thanks again

    Hi John,
    I hope you don't mind me contacting you directly, but you seem to know what you're talking about.
    I'm new to max.org and to Maxima's I just bought my first Maxima/Cefiro (I'm in New Zealand) it's a 2.5 auto with (160k/km) 100k/miles on the clock and runs beautifully apart from the idle. It idles fine when it's cold but when it's on temp it's like it has a missfire but an erratic missfire. I checked all the coil packs they all have the same ohm reading but no continuety between the possitive and the middle pin. I'm going to start by changing the plugs today. They look old but seem fine. If that doesn't solve the problem what would you suggest I try next?
