    You can have the wheels and the tranny for $400.

    Alex, I'm sorry to upset you. I think I jumped to this too quickly rather than researching a little more and getting some quotes on a rebuilt tranny. If the SE wheels are still available and in acceptable condition I may take those off your hands. I suppose you could consider it a minor compensation for the trouble I caused?

    Price would be fair for the tranny but I plan on keeping the car for awhile so from a cost effective perception, for only a bit more I can have the whole thing rebuilt, as opposed to buying the used tranny and having it installed and hoping that it lasts as long as I'd like. I may still look into taking the tranny off your hands, but don't pass up an offer.
