    P0138 Code.

    Folks,

    Could you please advice whether I will need to reprogram of the ECM if I replace the oxygen sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 with the OEM one. I don't understand why technically it is required if I plan to replace the sensor with the OEM part but the dealer's instruction says to reprogram the ECM. I hate to go to a dealer and can reset the trouble code by the OBD scanner, but I am not sure whether the trouble code will return if I don't do it.
    Can you please share your experience.
