Just be easy on it and drive it as little as possible. The excess pressure in the crankcase puts a lot of pressure on the oil seals and can lead to leaks and even blown out seals. Some of those seals are a lot of work to replace.

It's good that you're diligent about checking out your car. You probably dodged an expensive bullet by keeping your eyes open.
