No, I didn't have to get plates. I'm not positive, but I think you only really need those if you do severe suspension changes (like coilovers or airbags). My wheels are not cambered in at all, my alignment is dead on, and my tires wear evenly. I got my springs and shocks in a group deal on here a while ago. I don't remember how much they were, but I think it might have been a little less than that. I may be wrong though. Hope this helps!

20's. I have the tokico illumina shocks and springs. It's supposedly a 1.3 or 1.4" drop .... with stock wheels of course. It's still like a 3/4" drop with my 20's with 35 series tires, and no rubbing.
