    j-dawg,

I need some brake advice. I have a 1997 Maxima that I race in the 24 hours of Lemons races in the west coast. I want a cheap but effective brake upgrade. Right now bone stock calipers with solid Brmbo rotors, Carbotech XP-8 pads, DOT 4 fluid and some micky mouse cooling ducts. I can lock up the 255/40/17 tires pretty much the entire race if I push hard enough - so the braking does reach the tire's maximum stopping power, BUT lat in the race, I'm getting fade. I was thinking a Gen 5.5 upgrade? the Q45 upgrade? What do you recommend?
