    Sorry... Messages are not communicated to me via email and I rarely get onto the org anymore.

    I had the direct port system hooked up to the VQ30DE. 140K miles. All original internals. Stock ECU. No ignition retard. A spark plug exploded from detonation and the rest is history. I have another motor to replace it with but its been slow going.

    WHAT ENGINE DID U HAVE YOUR DIRECT PORT SETUP ON???
    sorry bout the caps, anyways i want to run a direct port setup on my alty SER, VQ35DE.
    what mods to the motor did u have???
