Hey I have an 04se with the 5speed with 63k, a few years ago I complained to a dealer up in Chicago about the tranny shifting really hard especially between 1-2 they said it was designed this way for a sporty feel. I did a tranny fluid drain and refill recently and the prob hasn't gone away I don't believe it should be shifting so hard. I have a warranty still through a third party, whats the best way to approach a new dealer and have them look at this and let me know if it needs to be replaced? Thank you!
