Hey Mister, I was wondering if you could help me out...I am looking at a 2011 sport (I live in canada) and im trying to pick a colour, I am really leaning towards ocean grey...would that be what you have? and if so, could you send me a couple pics...both in daylight and in the evening? If you cant, or too busy thats cool.

    Thanks
    Jay

Hiya, Flip. No, "Armchair Engineer" came from a thread where Matt93SE had a hissy-fit about people discussing RSTB bracket welds. Pretty sure it was intended as an insult, but there's more funny if you own it.

Hey, Nice to hear from you. Have been very busy with other things lately and could not visit the forum as often as I used to. I try to sneak into the forum and read a few posts and see a few pics whenever I get time. How is your Maxi doing? Your grill looks very sporty and unique.

I'm just teasing you, man. You know, I don't even own a cell phone.

Let's not nit-pick now... Not everyone has the luxury of always being able to type from a full keyboard rather than a touch screen phone. Buy don't worry, I have a good sense of humor too...

Flip2cho - You really guessed wrong when you picked me as knowing much about motor mounts. I think the last time I diddled with motor mounts was on a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief. Motor mounts were very simple in those days, and were visible by just raising the hood.

Having never seen the motor mounts on my car, I looked at the photos you sent very carefully, and decided the reason there is no spacer is because this thingamajig is designed to allow full range of uninhibited motion. That way, any vibration by the motor would simply cause the cylinder grip surrounding the center rod to slide freely up and down, transmitting no trace of vibration to the frame of the car. Like I say, I know nothing about this, but I think this may be designed for use without spacers. But you might want to check with some suspension-oriented folks on the ORG.
