Maxus09 Scenic Cruise Picture Thread

If you were part of the June 28th Maxus09 Scenic Cruise for our RECORD BREAKING Maxima caravan to Solomons Island, MD and the Gilbert Run Park BBQ and have pictures and video. Please post them in this thread so we can sort them better. Post your MIR / Drag Race / Car Show / Dyno shootout pic's in the other thread. So again only scenic cruise / BBQ here. I'd also like to thank the 50-60+ cars in the caravan for being professional and helping me lead (and participate in) one of the best caravans in my entire Maxima career. I've never seen a caravan stretch that far back (over 1/2 mile of all VQ power), coming over hills and around bends. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did and it was awesome meeting so many of you!!!

Wow! That is very impressive. I hope Maxus 10 is on the West Coast next year. I'll be there in a heartbeat. In for vids/more pics as well. So cool to see that 1/2 mile line in that pic

Awesome turn out and huge thanks to Chernmax and Ramberg. Both of you guys did a great job in making sure we were all together. It was indeed nice to see so many Maximas together.

Thanks. I have more than just the ones on photobucket. Originals, unedited, if u wanna use them just let me know...
Kinda bummed about the manifold picture. If I just moved a bit to the right I could've gotten the whole KINETICS in there. But they're not paying me for it so maybe not...

There were 3 VGs in the crowd too Me, a local that heard about it from a friend, and Kountz430 (the 3 foreground-most cars on post #12, from far to near)

but it was pretty epic... some of those curve+hills where I could ALMOST see the front of the line, but not quite....

yep. of course i won't be at all upset if next year's maxus caravan beats it (moar epic is fine by me haha) tho i prolly won't be in a maxima.. but i'm still gonna go to hang out w/ everyone, and see NY. I'm gonna try and have the car Nissan-powered tho but it'll be really tough to have that ready by next summer (the car itself is not a Nissan in any way, but i'm gonna attempt to put a VQ35 engine in it )

Hopefully Maxus2010 in NY works out, I think the length of the Maxus09 caravan was epic because it wasn't in a conjested area, the smooth roads, and the limited stop lights on the route both ways! Looking forward to NY though!!!

I just wished people paid more attention. We had a handful of near collisions cause of people not paying attention and slamming on the brakes at the last second...

yea.. i just wish the locals had been a little more understanding about the fact that we were trying to get the WHOLE line of cars through all the stoplights, instead of beeping at us. i mean honestly, if you see a line of 50+ of the SAME model of car, ALL with their flashers on.... you can't just wait 1 or 2 minutes for the cars to finish filing through? It's not like we were a bunch of riced-out ghey cars with fart-cans or anything; the vast majority of the cars at maxus were tastefully modded wrt exterior appearance and exhaust.
