The Autobahn is within site

You guys hear it right, we got a local Nissan dealership to do a partial sponsorship for Maxus at the Autobahn, meaning we will have a roadcourse day if there is enough interest to make this event happen. Keep checking back for exact dates and information for the roadcourse day.

Xander

Whoo Hoo! Where do I sign up? I'll be there, probably Tim with the Sentra and maybe another friend (IS 300 if that's ok)

Track day will be on a Friday. Its cheapest and as always Sunday is the BBQ day. PLUS if someone manages to break down on Friday- we got Saturday to fix the car and Sunday VS having to have your car sit.

I am finishing up the details on the track right now.

did you guys pick dates for maxus yet?
I forgot about the meeting last night 'til Xander called me at 10 to 8 he said it probably wasn't worth it for me to run out there (30-40 min drive) as you'd probably be done by then.
a Friday road course works for me, wonder what car I'll have for it

A road coarse definately sounds fun! I've never gone to any track event, auto cross, or anything of that sort so I definately wanna do this! I should have my car ready by then suspension-wise

Any idea what the cost range is? Last time I checked doing something like this can be up there.. I'd definately like to set some cash aside for this event

But boosted 4th gens with a solid real axle, chopped springs and probably stock struts in the twisties sounds oddly entertaining.

I'd probably be down for a track day, this year I can break my car AT Maxus, rather than just before.

i am glad to hear this, this might make me fix up the max to get it track ready.

But please this time guys, lets be sending out constant pm's to the entire board about the maximus like once everyu mth until it is the month for it. at least that way you would get alot more traffic coming to this maxus section. I clicked here by accident and I found out about this, many people dont even know this section exists.

many many many pms need to go out b/w now and then to make this into a huge sucess. ( not saying i didnt love last yrs, but the more the merrier)

Been there, done that.
road courses with 1/2 mile front straights are good for that.
