Yeah, you know the Street Atlas is easy to follow but he still let me miss two turns.

We took the back roads from his house to Gaffney/I85 and right before we got there some kids had closed off a street with the orange cans.

Anyway, we're here at the Hampton Inn which is across the street from Speedzone.

Anyone else?

Btw, I'm gonna test the VAFC-II again this weekend and if things don't change, I'll send it to ya next week so you have something to do while your posse is gone to Maxus.

Most of the people will be there at 8:00. Right now (5pm) there are 2 groups heading to the airport to get those flying in.

For the whole trip including stops, no way. However I did burn through 16.8 gallons of fuel in 5:15 (about 400 miles) after I left Dallas. But on that I only managed 63 miles in the first hour. Which leaves an average of 79mph for the remaining 4:15 (before we stopped in Arkansas).

I decided not to drive through the night since we spend most of the day in the hot sun at the car show. We left the gas station at about 5pm CT yesterday and even though we were making good time it just wasn't worth it.

Ok Just got home now. Left Monday morning at 9 am and got back here at 6 pm...

Also going home helped this family get out of their wrecked car in Arkansas. Saw a white car start fish tailing 1/8 mile in front of me on I-30, then it disapeared off into the woods/swamp . Me and two other cars stopped to help out and we got the kids and driver out, but a guy was stuck in the car. It hit a tree and trapped him between the crushed B pillar and the center consule. It took like 3 of us and 3 paramedics to bust up enough stuff to get him out. He had a collapsed lung and some other injuries, the paramedics said he should be ok. All other passengers were cut up bad and bruised, but were otherwise ok.

So after all that I took my time getting home and drove like a granny. That and I stopped up at Tilleys new shop for an hour. 1800 miles with 2 hours of sleep since Monday morning. Total time was 34 hours.

Good move Joe.

We need to hook up so I can see what you've done to the car. I think I'm going 3.5 when my engine goes.
