I will be coming to Maxus and was wondering if any1 with experience with Nitrous can install it for me. Half of it is installed that is the Direct ports nozzles and and Solenoids. Any1 want to help me install this while at Maxus?
Just curious - do you know the equivalent "shot" level that you plan to spray your direct-port system ??? Is there a formula to determine jet sizes for that setup???

I'm still learning to deal with nitrous I have some Videos and stuff plus this will not be a push button setup it will active its self at a certain RPM and I plan on managing it with the E-manage Unit.

Wow - does this mean you'll be spraying six nozzles, each with 50-shot jets? Isn't that the same as spraying a 300-shot single nozzle??
That could be exciting......
I think your manifold looks great, but do you know anyone that has made that setup work on the track? I would make one in a minute if I thought the port-injection design had advantages over the single-nozzle - but I would have to drill my MEVI to install nozzles...
Suggestion for your nitrous installation:
Bottle heater and pressure gauge. Keep bottle over 1/2 full and hot.
Control spray with WO-throttle switch of some sort. A RPM switch is good if you're 5spd.
Be sure your fuel pressure is up when spraying. A 300-shot will require a larger fuel pump. Heck, anything over 75-shot does too.
Get GOOD tires and traction bars - you're gonna spin a lot more!
Well i think he means that the jets he has in the nozzles all total up to a 50shot. meaning each nozzle individually is less than 50 for example like 9hp shot each or something, to total 50 (9shot X 6 cylinder).

maybe - but this is a quote:
"Well I have 50 Shot jets in the nozzles." To me,this says 50-shot jets in each nozzle. The smallest wet jets I've seen are 35-shot ...
When I bought the engine I was told 50 shots that was in the Nozzles it could be in each nozzle Like I said i'm still learning I will find out soon whats in each nozzle.

Just be careful - you're doing the right thing about being certain about everything in your system before you pull the trigger.
The NX web site has Adobe downloads of their manuals, and I think the various NX jet sizes are shown. That might help.
i really doubt there is a 300shot in there, thats almost doubled the amount of hp the car makes n/a. thats crazy, the engine will blow in pieces instantly.

Yep - it surely would blow -
MAXDADDY98, I'll see you at MAXUS 2006 in Dallas. I look forward to seeing your manifold...
Wow..I heard wet is bad compared to dry since it'll leave burn marks and other things..I read that somewhere, forgot where..It was in a magazine that compared wet to dry.

Dont belive everything you read on magz, just do ur own research and you'll kno which is better, and plus, burn marks on what?
I haven't installed it yet but I haven't had time either plus the Car has been sitting I've been driving my Winter car but if some of you guyz are coming to Maxus 2007 you will surely see it, it might be hooked up by then
i'm speechless, all i can say is "what tha hell" ...... nice set up though... i think nitrous is just asking for trouble.... or death for that fact...
Ma'am, I do not appreciate your slanderous remarks.
MAXDADDY98, is that 1max2nv's old setup or something? I was going to say installing a direct port at a meet isn't the brightest idea, but you have the hard work done.
