For Sale: 2002 Nissan Maxima SE 6MT
***SOLD - Saturday, April 9, 2022***
With best wishes to Tavo and his lovely wife for safe travels home and at least 20 years of good memories ahead.
---Original listing---
I just purchased a Miata and my wife has convinced me that I don't need a "practical" car any longer so I'm putting my Maxima up for sale.
I purchased this Tungsten Blue with Tan leather 2002 Nissan Maxima SE 6MT from Billy Ray Nissan in Longwood, FL back in 2002 and have driven it gently and kept it regularly serviced ever since. Recently replaced the battery January 2021, had a major service in May 2019 (spark plugs, coolant flush, A/C recharged, etc.), front/rear struts replaced, brake pads replaced, rotors resurfaced, fluid flushed in January 2015, and regular maintenance according to either time or miles. It's a low mileage car at just over 71,562 miles these past 19 years and has been garage kept at home and work since new. Hand washed and waxed regularly and no drive-through machine washes. No drivetrain, suspension, or appearance mods. In May 2018 I had the factory head unit swapped out for a Sony XAV-AX5000 7” Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Media Receiver with Bluetooth and have zero regrets as it's worked really well and has been a welcome upgrade. I'm not sure if I still have the factory 6-disc in-dash changer with me but if I can find it, it goes with the car. Car will also be sold with a Yakima roof rack (currently not mounted) that I used to transport my kayak and a Hidden Hitch 1.25" receiver that I used for a hitch-mount bike rack. I very recently replaced all the plastic stoppers fitted to the pedal assemblies that will either cause the brake lights to stay on or the cruise control to stop working and replaced a couple of the side marker light bulbs that burned out so all the lights inside/outside are on and everything is working as it should. The car is almost 20 years old and the window switches on the front driver door panel and starting to get finicky and the sunroof slider control is also becoming a little fussy but the window and sunroof motors are solid and the switches can be swapped out when they finally give up.
I have a bunch of daytime and nighttime pictures but it looks like I may have to upload them in batches. I can take and post additional pics by request. Price is $7,500 firm. Not entertaining trades or offers at this point. Sale includes clean title, original keys (2 w/fobs and 1 valet key), roof rack, hitch receiver, endless Japanese style, and all the quirks of owning an almost 20 year old car. Sadly, I'm unable to offer free test drives so serious inquiries only, please. Thank you and best wishes this holiday season.

Yes. Same car, same condition, same price. Let me know if you have any questions about the car or would like additional pictures (but you'll have to be specific about what pictures you'd like since I think I've got most angles, inside and out, covered). Best wishes.

Found the original radio
Thanks to some spring cleaning, I found the original 3-in-1 6-disc CD changer/tape player/radio that was replaced in favor of the Sony touchscreen a few years ago. The original head unit was replaced twice under warranty at the dealer in the first couple years of ownership and was fairly problematic even when the car was new - I'm sure there's an ancient forum post on this - but this is the original (twice remanufactured) head unit and will be sold with the car.
