Selling 3rd Gen Looking for 5.5 Gen
Time has come for me to finally part with my old 3rd gen... It has been a great 4 years but im ready to step it up and move to the 5.5 gen.. I Started out with a 87 maxima that my grand father bought for me as a first car... After that junker left my yard i got my 3rd gen.. It had 132,000 miles on it when i bought it and all i had to do to it was put a new exhaust system on it and new brakes and it passed inspection...In the past 4 years ive lowerd it 2 times first on koni's and eibachs and this last time on the same koni's but i switched to intrax for a lower drop... Under the hood ive replaced ( Short Intake, Distributer,cap, alternator, gas filter, thermostat, passanger axel, plugs, wires, Under Drive Pulley, New Belts, Power steering hose.
I Broke the input shaft bearing in the stock transmission after 150,000 miles so i swapped it out for a used (65,000 mile) 5-speed transmission and a new clutch. I have a 2.5in Warpspeed Y-pipe +Catback to a N1 style muffler. I have the full stillen lip kit painted black to match the car. New fog lights. New hood with fresh paint and no dents. New back bumper. I change the oil religiously every 2500-3000 miles with only synthetic. Thsi last time i finally switched to royal purple and i love it..
The car it self has normal wear n tear for a almost 19 year old car... It is very clean tho for its age and i always keep wax on it. It is sitting on 18 inch Akuma wheels, Black with the polished aluminum lip very clean, just replaced the 2 front tires with hankook ventures 225 60zr 18 wich are a nice quiet tire..The Interior is Black with the tan inserts, tan cloth seats and carpet, very clean, Shortened shifter, stock bose system wich works perfectly and playes louder than most cars with expensive speakers,
Anyway im looking to get 2500 for the car, It does have 165,000 miles on it but it drives excellent, I have no problems opening it up on the highway and getting around any car i want to its very quick for a Vg 5-speed. I had it up to the track a few times this past year and my pest time i ran was a 15.72 at 87mph so thats really nothing to sneeze at considering its a 3,000 pound 4door maxima...
I am looking inturn to get a 5.5 gen 6-speed maxima with less than 100k miles and preferrably not blue. I Paint in a body shop for a living so i can easily change the color if i want so really that doesnt matter. Im not looking to speend top dollar for it either i know round about w/o major mods how much they should cost, I am looking at 1 right now in Va with 105k miles but they want 8k for it.. imo that a little steep for a 03 with 100k miles.. But anyway it must be in the Maryland area for my conveniense...
