Hate to bump an old 4 sale. Not sure where to post as I've not really been a member in the Infiniti I30 group and have regularly participated in the 3rd gen group, so this really doesn't fit in either place to me.

Just an update on this car. Fantastic buy, ran perfect. Never really got to see how great it did on gas. As of this morning, on my way to work some 19 yo kid rear ended me at about 45-50 mph. I was at a dead stop. The back of the rear fender wells are rubbing against the rear tires and the sheet metal behind the back doors are buckled. I know the car is killed. Just thought I'd post the loss. However, I may negatiate with the adjuster to pull the mags and Injen CAI and battery. If I do, then I may post the CAI. I'm not going to buy back the car, so please don't ask about parts.
Just to put it out there, I am okay. I hit my head and have a nice bruise coming up. No concussion but am still feeling dazed this evening. Thankfully my two kids were not with me...just dropped them off at school.

Holy ****, stupid goddamn punk *** kids (ok just moron drivers haha).

That even pisses me off. It was such a nice car. I hope you make out good on the insurance.

BTW, I like your '89 and have been thinking about it, but I just don't have the need for all the 3.0 motors and parts. If you had a 3.5 and other stuff with it, maybe.

I see a lot of I30s and 4th gen maxis here, but at the rate cars are getting totaled I wonder if there will be any on the road haha. After more years go by I plan on using the fact that all these nissans are still on the road and ask the domestic owners what happened to theirs I'm a prick like that.

Sorry to hear that Chris! Let me know if you want to buy another one. I have a beautiful '01 I30 with Millennium Jade Metallic paint (a kind of light silver green) and Sage Leather interior. It also has navigation. Only asking $5995. Of course, it is a little farther from you being in Gainesville, FL.

You still have your turbo 3rd gen?

Yes, I am looking for another I30, I35, or 5/5.5 gen Maxima. Looked at ad, I didn't see mileage. Any issues with the car? I'd like some more images and detials sent to my email address. Mxmumpwr@aol.com.

Yes, still have the turbo. Hoping to get her in the garage and fix the rod bearing. I start her from time to time just to move her around the yard to mow. Fires up and purrs everytime...just with a tick....tick.....tik-a-tik..noise.

Here's an image of the I30 damage.

I'm otherwise going to let this thread go. The posts are no longer relavant for the 4 sale thread. If anyone wants/needs to contact me, you can do so through private or my direct email address. Thanks!
