FOR SALE 1998 Sterling Mist 5MT - PA

Yes, it's true. I'm selling my Maxima...

Anyway, I truly love the car. And I searched forever and a day for it..... But honestly I have a company car coming in soon and I won't have a need for the Maxima. I feel bad putting all of those daily miles on it as well.... that’s what the company car will be for.

Also, since I'll have the company car for daily hauling, I may to buy a strictly project car for something to tinker with on the weekends and such...

Just the necessary replacement and performance parts were added since I've owned it (purchased in 2006 with 91K on the clock). All performance parts on the car are listed in my sig. Honestly, it hasn’t really needed anything other than a few little maintenance parts.

1 - Knock sensor was done about 25K ago
2 - Tires have about 70 - 80% left
3 - Silverstar Headlights
4 - Changed Manual Trans Fluid to Amsoil Synthetic about 8K ago
5 - Been using Mobil 1 or other quality synthetic oil since I got it and change at every 4K or less actually (mostly less than 4K cause I’m a stickler for oil changes)
6 - Inspection done - Good till 9/2009
7 - NGK Iridiums about 9 - 10K ago
8 - I always use 91 or 93 Octane in the summer and maaaayyyybe 89 Octane in the dead of winter (I'm talkin like 15 degree weather)...
9 - I replaced all the speakers cause the stock ones were blown when I got the car....Jensen in the front, Eclipse(I’m almost positive) in the rear....

I never did the water pump cause the coolant looked brand new when I got the car as well as the inside of the rad and res. looking pretty clean.....I just decided it didn’t need it.

Clutch catches fine as far as I’m concerned....I don’t know for sure but it may have been replaced by the previous owner.....again NOT TOO SURE ABOUT THAT. But I drive it almost every day and the clutch feels fine.

Slight seepage out of the rear main seal....I didn’t bother with it cause its not too bad and I was gonna do it once I did the clutch.....when it got to that point of course

I gotta pick up a power steering pump return line cause it seeps a bit as well(the rubber one that’s easy to replace)

Both front outter CV boots are torn. The joints still seem perfectly fine, and I have the boot kits to replace the busted ones... just haven't had the chance to do them yet.

Mod Details:
1 – Suspension has about 10K on it
2 – J30 brake setup has about 3K on it
3 – Complete exhaust has about 1200 miles on it

**I may decide to keep the J30 Brake Setup and Intake, in which case I will decrease the sale price of the car.**

I think that’s pretty much it....I’m probably forgetting some positive things tho...

Anyone interested can browse around on the Regional Northeast Forums in the Sunday Night Lowe's Meet thread and ask around there about my car. I'm confident that everyone who has seen the car at least once will tell you that it's really clean and really well taken care of.

I am asking $5500.00 for the car with ALL mods. If there is no interest in that form I will part out and sell in stock form.

Here’s a link from a few months ago with some pics…

Just a few pics....

Car no longer has dealer decal as seen in pics, and of course the stock exhaust is no more…

Thanks,
Anthony

Also forgot to mention that I work in north Jersey (08873)...

That means I'm near New York and all through Jersey as well.

If you're In either and interested, get a hold of me and we'll work something out.

Thanks,
Anthony

Probably would have been good to list the mileage huh...

Odo sits at 122,326 as of tonight. I drove it for the first time in over a week...I've been trying to limit the mileage on it for obvious reasons.

And, as usual, thecar put a smile on my face. Everything worked like a charm...
