I'm going to be selling my 1997 Maxima SE Auto soon. Altogether in good mechanical shape. Well taken care of. Completely stock, haven't done anything to it.
The ABS light is on and presumably doesn't work as a result, and the odometer is on-and-off. It says it has 159000 on it but I'd say it's around 163000 - working on getting that fixed right now.
Sunroof and heated leather & mirrors work great, radio and CD works but the cassette player doesn't. Has the Green Jelly "Three Little Pigs" single stuck in the cassette deck. I'll even throw that in if you want it
Oh, and the "2" radio preset button works but it's jiggly.
Interior is very clean, all factory mats are present except for the driver's. Leather looks good, no bad spots, plastic and vinyl is all good too.
Exterior might use a bit of work, but not a ton. It has a couple rust spots, each a few square inches in area. One is on the rear passenger-side wheel well, and the other one is where the spoiler connects to the trunk on the right side. The rust is circling the spoiler mount a bit. Some subtle discoloration is dripping down the trunk. Then on the rear bumper on the driver side, the paint has chipped off a bit; typical Nissan paint from what I hear.
Anyway I love the car, but we're moving and I have to sell (it's either this or the 300ZX.)
Honestly I wouldn't even know what to ask for the car, so I'll rely on the trusted Maxima.org forums to give me a fair price. I paid $5250 for the car a couple years ago.
