2012 Maxima Of The Quarter NOMINATIONS:

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. (I'm sorry that it's long but please take the time to read it all)

Here are the guidelines....
- This is open to all generations to members that are in good standing (no banned members). The member must have at least 100 posts.
- Please, if you're going to pick someone's car other than yours, make sure you have their permission.
- If you've made updates to your car, please edit your post. If you need help, DanNY can help you update pics and etc.
- Please DO NOT post any additional comments this thread is STRICTLY for MOTQ cars/nominations. No need to see someone post their car and have 20 people make comments on it.
- If your car isn't picked this quarter, it might be picked the next quarter so don't be discouraged.
- NO EBAY pics/cars. If you're posting pimp my ride car pics or something stupid on eBay then this is gone. Don't ruin it for the rest of the community!!!

1 week bans will be handed out...don't test DanNY.

Here's what you post in this thread...

- List the year of your car.
- List your location (state/country is fine).
- Contact info (email or PM). You need to contacted if you win.
- Mods you have made, if any or things you have done to it (no oil changes or filling it up with gas BS).
- 50 words or less why you feel "this" car should be MOTQ. "Because I think it's cool" won't cut it. Tell us something about it...why it should be picked out of all the other Maximas on the forum. Perhaps a small story about how you got the car or how you work on it..etc. Don't have to be Shakespeare but please use proper English.
- Most important part!!! Post pictures!! Please no cell phone camera pics.
Let's see the shine here. Borrow a friend's camera if you have to...host the picture on a site (Photobucket or similar) and link it in this thread. Please wash/clean your car!!! Don't leave personal items in/on the car for the photoshoot. Please no more than 10 pictures. A good mix would be front, rear quarter, engine, and interior. Just give us a good idea what you have going on there. If you get picked we might request additional pics from you so be ready.

Failure to follow directions will cause your post to be deleted or your nomination rejected. No complaints! You have been warned. Rules are subject to change.

Thanks for reading. Let the games begin!!

"I have owned this car since 2005 and it has treated me very well. Everything that has ever been done to the car was strictly done be me and me alone. I put a lot of heart and passion into making my maxima different from all the others. It might not be crazy performance wise or have the suspension like others but it suits who I am and what I want from my car. This whole journey has been all about being different in a way that will inspire others to step out of our bubble and dream big. My maxima is my pride and joy and has transformed many times but I couldn’t have done it without the ORG. I have learned so much from so many people and I really want to say if it wasn’t for the org I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thanks for everything!"

What Ive been through:

I am currently 18 years old and a freshman at the U of Denver. My father bought this car new back in 1995, the production date on it is July 94' so its one of the first 4th gens.
He gave me this car in May 2010, completely stock. It was a clean slate. Over the past two years I worked to make it my own. It started with just a strut bar, then came exhaust, then I did the suspension. It took me until October of 2010 to just get those 3 mods done. Ever since then, I would save up for the next mod.
By the end of my senior year in high school, 2011, I had decided to tackle a retrofit project. I texted ChrisMan non stop during the month it took to make them, he guided me through the build.
I love my car because it always gets looks and compliments. I love the fact that the hard work I put in to it make it mine and the fact that a 17 year old car can still get stared at daily by new people.
Now that I'm in college, I have stopped modding it to save money. It sits with the mod list. I drive it every Saturday to go snowboarding and wash it every Sunday. I love being able to walk into the parking garage and see it being the only well taken care of car. Simply going for a 5 minute drive in it will always put a smile on my face no matter

"This is my Merlot 2k3 SE. Daily driven, it's seen me through a lot. Carried my daughters to school, me on a whirlwind nationwide move thanks to Uncle Sam, and has settled into the local Max scene quite nicely. This is currently one the highest HP N/A Maximas (Auto5.5's) on the board with 267hp tuned by Hills Garage in MD. I personally do the majority of my work, but when help is needed GhostMax301, JayPee, DatDude, and AJCool are local and have helped a lot. I pretty much have touched every aspect of the car trying to make my daily keep up with the rest of the MDMAX crew 6spds and look decent doing it. They're serious about their speed here lol. Thanks Chris for the nomination. I've been on here a looooooong time. This is my second Max, but i love it more than my 4th Gen
