When I first started going to Taiwan 7 years ago I was loved going out, especially Taipei, left at midnight, got back at 8 or 9 in the morning. When I started working more in Kaohsiung I stayed out pretty late sometimes, 4 or 5 but as you get older the partying and drinking starts taking their toll on you so I'm much more reserved now. By 1 or 2, depending on what was going on, I am usually in bed knocked out, lol.

If I ever down there, I will show you some tuner world down south but no dirty south hahha
ABC stands as American Born Chinese.
I'm curious did you guys see the UCLA girl rant about Asian people on Youtube? There are a ton of Asian people outraged.
I am actually kind of neutral, since being born in the US racism and rants like this really isn't anything out of the ordinary. What gets me isn't what she said but HOW she said it. And how she criticizes the Asian people for calling their families because of the tsunami and then does a really offensive imitation of it.
But it seems like after years and years of being non-responsive and repressing the feelings of anger, the Asian people are now standing up and doing something.
But one thing I know for sure, is that if this had been any other race. There would probably be protests outside this girl's house instead of a small mob of angry Asian people online.
I don't pay attention to racist crap, being Asian and living in the South I've learned to brush it off.
I've had people call me almost all Asian racial crap and sometimes being mistaken for a Mexican, but when I talk with that southern drawl with more stinging insults, biitches back down rather quick.
It also helps that I look like I could take on a mob of crackaz without hesitation.
Screw her. She wanted her 5 minutes of internet fame and she got it but the thing is she has to face down every asian at that school from here out. And then she apolgized saying she didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. WTF she think was gonna happen?

Yes, I think we are overdue for one. I talked with Kloogy the other day and told him we need an Old Timers get together. Problem is trying to track down everyone.
We could do a FB event invite, make it private, invitation only? I've still got the emails from the meet from like 5 years ago, haha. Lemme find a couple of Saturdays to pick from. Add me on fb, search for my screenname, I'm wearing sunglasses.
Man, I haven't seen Kloogy in ages! I know I can get Cheston and Brian and Randy. Will have to look up Nabil. I don't know Jerry very well. Mark with the truck. Jay Lee. Homie.

But yeah she goes to UCLA and decides its smart to let the world know she hates Asian people. Probably not the best idea, I've heard that the Asian gangs down there are worse than the other types of gangs. But I have no idea whether its true or not since I'm in WA.
Did you guys read her apology though? I read it in every way possible and I could not see any hint of sincerity, and it wasn't even directed at the Asian race either it was just towards her school.
Not to mention the crazy religious girl who posted a video thanking God for the tsunami... it seems like all the crazies are starting to come out of the woodwork.
But what was awesome is the replies to the video, it was from everybody of all races. And they were defending us Asians! Which makes me feel happy that there are still good folks out there.
Anyways, she is still pretty hot (the religious girl... not so much). But I would love to take them both out to the movies and talk dirty all night long.

I saw both videos but I think im at the age where I just laugh and block it out.
theres no point in fighting with stupid ppl when theres so much more out there to our lives for pity stupid ppl.
I think if this was 10 years ago , I would have gone off and been pissed off.
There are always gangs in every state, I still have alot of ties in L.A and other areas , but yea I couldnt imagine if the whitegirl from UCLA had to go thru and hide from.

Yeah it would be a nightmare for her. Hahah
In WA there are gangs that come out whenever the weather is nice but, knowing the Everegreen state, it rains 360 out of the 365 days in a year and so it is pretty safe to wander around outside because they are all inside avoiding the rain just like everyone else.
