I am in the states now but I am coming over in mid December. I will be in staying in Cologne and also near Hamburg. Did you ship your max over? I want to bring mine but my friend ( he lives in Germany) thinks they wont let me drive it because of the mods. I want to find out for sure before I ship it. Do you know anything about thier laws on cars?

Yes I did ship mine over. Fortunatly, being that I work for the DoD we don't follow the same annual inspection standards as the Germans (what they call TUV). They are very strict on TUV over here. No tint on front windows, you can only lower your car a certain amount, stuff like that. Although I have seen alot of modded German cars that look like they would fail.

I shipped my max to Poland & they are also strict here but no problems. For $35 in the pocket, the inspection dude kept one eye shut during the inspection.

A VQ30 in a Micra, that thing must roll. Yeah I've been looking for a Nissan club around here to roll with for awhile. Cologne is about 2 hours away.
