A/C Dead?

A/C Dead?
Went to turn on my AC and nothing! The display lights up and shows as though it's blowing, however no blow. As I got onto the freeway with the Temp down to 60, I could feel Cold air blowing in, but very slightly. Anyone know how to diagnose/check what could be wrong? It's an '02 I35 with about 80k miles. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever have any other problems before it stopped working? When it's cold the blower makes this really loud grinding noise on mine for awhile and will usually stop until I make a hard turn or hit a bump. My worry is that it will eventually stop working because something is obviously wrong at this point.

That's correct. No mode will allow it to blow. A very small amount of air does come through, as though it's allowing air to vent into the cabin. When set at 90, though slight, comes out warm. Likewise when at 60 degrees, air is much cooler than outside air. So I'm thinking that at least I've got that on my side.

You know, from what I've been reading, it sounds like that's what it is. I've seen on other forums where people that don't change their air cabin filter regularly (yes, I'm guilty ). From what I'm seeing the part number for that module is 27761-2Y000. Can anyone confirm? Summer is coming and I don't wanna melt.

IN NEED OF HELP
I'm having some real issues, I have an 02 I35 Silver and I recently got into an accident. The insurance company fixed everything but when I got my car back, the A/C wasnt working. It would blow air but the compressor wouldn't turn on at all.
Also, my in-dash temp display just reads --- F. Which it usually only does that if its really cold outside, now it always does it. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of any type of correlation between the temp gauge and the compressor not turning on.
The insurance company has attempted to fix this on three separate occasions, but they still have not been able to get it. I'm kind of sick and tired of dealing with them and want to either fix it myself or bring it to my buddies and we're gonna do it over there.
Anyone have any insight on this?!?!
Please help.

Any update on this issue? I just replaced my blower motor with a new unit from rockauto (that fit perfect btw), But still no air pressure through vents.
Can anyone give more info on the resistor issue?

**** UPDATE *****
Nearly 2 months after I lost the A/C, it's Back and running and even Better than evar. Since my Infiniti is not my daily driver, it wasn't a matter of life and death, although as it gets hotter out here in So Cal, it would've become an issue.
Anyway, I ordered the part from a company called dealerdirectparts. Apparently they're in Arizona and frankly had the best price on the unit, although it took 9 days to get the part from my order date. My local Nissan dealers wanted $110+ and the Infiniti dealer wanted almost $150. I got the part for $59.10... added a few oil filters to increase the price to $75 to get the free shipping, otherwise you'll fork out $10 or so for shipping. The part number that I replaced was the same as the Nissan/Infiniti dealer showed of 27761-2Y000 (Blower Motor Amplifier). Hopefully this helps anyone else out there still having trouble with no blowing AC's. It was simple and easy!
Now if only I can get the clunking problem solved, Life would be perfect!

What sort of noise? Last winter whenever it was really cold the fan or blower in my car would make these really awful high pitched whining noises until the air moving through warmed up. Now it only makes little bitty squeaks every now and then when the air gets really cold with the a/c on.
