what type of cv axle for 99 I30?

I'm going to get whole axle for both sides in idiotzone, but since it's idiotzone, I have to be careful with the things they give me. I heard there are some different types of axles, like, "locking- unlocking" "differential " ,"ABS". can somebody give me a full description of right model parameters for my 99 infiniti I30 Limited.

thanks in advance!

99 Limited? You have an open differential, non-limited slip. Just get regular axles, unless you have ABS. In that case you'll have to get the ones for ABS.

I always thought '99 was the one year all I30's came standard with vlsd, aka locking differential, either way it was a common dealer option on all I30's so it should be double checked.

To verify locking differential look for the silver plate on your firewall, there will be a trans code, it should read re4f04V if it's locking or re4f04A if it's open.

Get abs ones, they will work in either, but that's irrelevant since both will work in either, swapping abs rings is cake.

Locking dif axles have two sets of splines and a much bigger driverside seal.

Seriously? The firewall is the structure of your car that seperates the cabin from the engine bay. That big metal wall that runs behind your engine is your firewall.
