'02 OEM Navi Sticking/Clicking when opening

Anyone have an issue with their Navi Clicking or Sticking when it opens? I just happened to notice it in the last few weeks. Looks like all the screws are tight. Anyone have any ideas on a fix. It clicks and sticks about midway as it is trying to open as well as when it fully closes it gives a few extra clicks when it's finally down. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Mine used to do the same thing, but only because there was dirt in it (got it from a junkyard I35) There's a white plastic gear inside the part of the screen that bolts to the dash. If you've got time to tear into it, check the gear teeth. Check to make sure the gear isn't loose first, but if its actually missing teeth, you might be able to get a replacement gear from a hardware or hobby store if you're lucky.

If ya can't fix it, here's a link to one I just came across on ebay for $150. Not a bad price either. Auction has 28 days left, so you've got plenty of time to do whatever.
