I just got done tinting my lights and I just wanted some opinions. I only did 2 light coat on the tail lights and I think i should go darker. LMK what you guys think! Thanks
Ok I added another coat today. I added some clear coat it looks better but still has a little dullness to it. Do I need to sand it and than add the clear coat? I masked it with brown tape and cut the outline with a razor. I'll upload new pics tomorrow.
looks good. anyway whats the process for spraying anyway? (that other thread is mine). I baught that AUG stuff from ebay, and everything is in japanese, i dont know whats the process.
Im just going to get some painters tape and cut it the way i want and spray light coats.

i tinted mine with tinted vinyl. they sell kits on ebay, but I do vinyl work for a job, ive tried to use the kits on ppls cars before but its easier for me to pull it off the roll
And +1 for black tint on a black car. Looks silly on most other colors.
You lights Looks sick!! I was also going got a light color tint but ended up darkening it. What did you use?? I'm going to try and wet sand it down today if I have time. Yea truu only certain color cars can pull it off.
Believe it or not, some guy on here just mailed me the precut tint pieces and I stuck them on. Used a spray bottle with water and my sister's blowdryer. Didn't charge me a cent either, but unfortunately I forget who it was.
I think you can actually get the stuff at Pep Boys or Autozone. I'd also try an arts/crafts store if the auto parts store don't have anything. You just need something that sticks with water (pre-glued, I guess) and is transluscent. (Also, needs to be somewhat pliable so you can stretch it with heat without tearing it.)
On your's though, I like that you left the blinkers/reverse lights clear. Looks nice that way.
