Cam position sensor findings

I've owned my 2K2 I35 for about a year and a half. A year into driving it, I got a cam position sensor code during the summer months. I can't remember if it was bank front or rear bank. At that time I cleared the codes and it fixed the problem till about a week ago when the light came on again, and now the warmer summer months again.

I haven't read the code yet, but I have a hunch it's the cps again. So tonight I pulled both of them out and tested the impedance per the fsm procedure at 77 degrees (or so).

The front one measured 1.56 ohms between +1 and - 3, and 1.3 between +2 and -3. The rear one measured 1.2 between +1 and -3 and 1.5 between +2 and -3.

Also, should the sensor ends of these be perfectly smooth? On the front one, I noticed what looked like a plastic molding mark, and on the rear one I noticed a very small gouge and 2 plastic mold looking marks. The gouge obviously not a good sign according to the org posts.

I don't mind spending the money for new sensors, especially from courtesy for $65 and change each, but it sounds like there's at least a few reasons the car throws this code. Any thoughts, and do the readings I got make sense?

Had a cam position sensor changed a couple of months ago. Now the dealer is telling me I need both repalced ang with the crank posotion sensor. Nissan had a factory recall on these and I never got the notice. Check out the attached link below.
