Just got back from the tire shop and had the tires mounted Going to take a breather and install them later as I still feel the alcohol in my body

OK first a quick review, these tires are OMFG AWESOME!!!! The turn in response is instant and I don't know if it is placebo but I def feel the car has a bigger contact patch with the road and did I mention the grip is nuts?

My factory tires were 215/55/17 which = fat soft sidewall so the ride was always soft and comfy. Surprisingly with 245/40/18 and its reduced sidewall the ride feels the same if not more compliant? I think maybe the old soft fat sidewall were mismatched with Eibach stiffness and now the lower and stiffer profile sidewall is better matched to the springs? I don't know what it is but no complaints of loss of ride comfort here!

And now for some quick pics!

That looks awesome man.
It looks as if your wheels match perfectly your body color / dark headlights.
Are you running any wheel spacer? because it looks like the offset is perfect!
I like it a lot. It makes the entire car look so different, for some reason wheels were always mod no.1 for me.

No spacers as the 350Z wheels have perfect offset +30F and +33R for our cars. Last weekend I had my rear right fender rolled too in anticipation of fender rubbing, so far so good!

Once I get the G35 sedan muffler and new tips welded on to replace the HKS I will be done done. Was suppose to order my M3 a month ago but now keeping my job is more important than a car driven 5-10 miles a week

(since you are local let me know if you are interested in the HKS)

Wait which m3? The new one with the v8? Www man that is a nice car but like you said having a job is much more important. Anyway about the hks, I will look at the youtube videos and see how it sounds. From what I remember it is kind of loud.but either way I'm pretty sure someone from nycmaximas will proly get em. Good luck with the job and hopefully you will get the M soon.

Like Ive said before, your car is beautiful man. Unfortunately no one is selling the center caps you want. Ebay it is .

It'll be worth it though, your care to me is perfected, nothing more you should do.

I'm going to force myself to come to an edgewater meet so I can see it .

Congratulations on getting it all to come together. It looks good, though I'd be lying if I didn't say I wonder how it would look as all silver...

<---Think I've said it before, I'm a sucker for 1-color wheels, usually don't like multiple finishes, but I think you pulled it off well.

those look S I C K on that car man. Great job. It really offsets the black in your projector lights really well. With the black grill, clear lights all the way around, and the black projectors, that thing is almost as perfect as an i35 can get! Silver on black is my favorite color combo after black/black.
:EDIT:
I just noticed you blacked out the door trim too. Hella nice man. Hella nice.

Great job man!

I too, noticed a HUGE performance increase when I went up to 18's on my i35. It kind of shocked me, but the car looks WAY better on 18's, the ride qaulity doesn't suffer that much, and the performance with the fatter tires is totally awesome.

Once again dude, great job. More pics of that beast would be appreciated by all I'm sure

Take it to a powder coating shop and let them strip the old finish and redo them in black.
