My Angel Eyes

These are some Ebay headlights I put it. I know, I know, everyone says crappy output. Still with the 8k HIDs I think it has far better output than the stock Halogen my car came with. If I win the lottery and have tons of free time (and mainly acquire the skills =D)I will build a retrofit as well. Since the headlights have clear turning signals I put a set of chromed over bulbs from autoilumination in them. The sockets didn't match as well. Bad manufacturing I think, so I had to ghetto rig it haha. I adjusted the lights a little higher, because I think they were too low.

I hope all of you enjoy pictures =D

The cut off looks pretty good. The beam looks too narrow though. The right side is pitch black. Can you aim horizontaly with the ebay lights?

I think this is a good temporary option for those who may lack the time, money, skill or resources to take on a complete retrofit.

Not a fan of the whole angel eye thingy. I don't even like them on the cars that come stock with them.

the headlights are exactly like the OEM ones, except a little crappier in the quality. There is one bolt to tune vertically, and then one that is really hard to get to on the bottom of the assembly. I don't know whether it is to adjust the hi-beam or to adjust horizontally. Any one knows about that? I tried to get to it, but couldn't. I was kind of in a rush, and memo to self. Hid lights burn VERY VERY hot.

unfortunately they didn't use 9006. I was pissed as well when I got them, because they said just like stock everywhere. They came with some OSRAM halogens, which are pretty decent bulbs. temporary that is. Keep the Ballasts and just buy the matching bulbs for 40 bucks on Ebay. Gives you a chance to swap colors =D

I believe the color difference can be explained by either just the camera and shutter times in the dark or that they vary slightly because of crappy ebay quality. But they are a little more blue than in the pictures. Plus you get a cool blue reflection of clear surfaces like other car lamps.

That's the auction and the seller was "proexhaust"

damn its not 9006 ha, well as you can read on my sig I just got hid's for fogs and headlights so getting new projectors doesnt seem all that smart right now and plus there are some issues with my baby these days that i should really attend to before i mod anymore. And i really want to get the roof overlay as my
next mod and then a spoiler after that eibach/illuminas.

For ebay headlights, I'd say they turned out really nice. I wouldn't mind having a set.I'd like to see more pictures from other angles of the beam pattern.

Complete newb question: Are these ebay lights a direct plug and play? Do they come with a ballast or other items that need to be installed? I know this is probably a dumb question. I looked at the ebay auction and didn't see it mentioned. I think they look great. Thanks.

the headlights are exactly like the OEM ones, except a little crappier in the quality, and the bulb sockets are different!

and you need to get an HID conversion kit off ebay.

I will post some more pics once I get back to AZ, two more weeks. I can't wait, I have a stillen y-pipe, wheel spacers , bodykit, grounding kit and BBK waiting to be installed ^^

mine had different sockets for the bulbs than the stock ones. I am not sure but different one's might have matching sockets. I heard there is something like conversion sockets as well. Don't know more about that tho.
