Had an Accident
Hit the curb trying to avoid someone who almost ran a light and my car suffered the brunt of it
hit the curb and broke my strut and damaged most of suspension components, cell phone pics not so good

You have no idea
i just keep wondering if the car was higher if it would have "climbed" the curb after i swerved

That depends on what angle you hit the curb at, as well as the speed of the impact. I don't think that having dropped the suspension a bit would have a significant effect. My impression, though, hitting the curb at at an angle less than 30 degrees, going 30+mph, and you are in really bad shape

Glad your ok man. Same almost happened to me when a x5 cut me off. Luckily it was an industrial area and i had a driveway to go up and finally brake on the curb.
