i35 foglight connector/harness

I've posted about this numerous times, but I finally have a lead on the engine harness that holds the connector I need for my driver side foglight.....

Before I buy it, is this what I'm looking for?

I need the connector that goes into the back of the foglight, mine was lost during an accident, and not repaired fully by the body shop, (My insurance co would not pay the $1200 for a harness, so it was left undone). It's my understanding that the connector that goes to the foglight and sidemarker, is part of this main engine harness. Is this correct?

So what wires do you have left from the foglight? Do you still have the bulb cap or no? Do you see the two wires meant for the foglight? And two more for the cornering light?

I have the 2 intact for the cornering light, but all I have is 2 pieces of wire coming from the engine bay. The end of the connector is gone, you can see the break....

The foglight has been replaced, the cap is on it-I just need the connector at the end.....

I guess I don't get it. I'm still confused as to why you can't just extend the wiring and connect it to the bulb? Mind you, my memory of how the fogs are back there is rusty, but they're just two wires. As long as there is metal-to-metal contact the current will flow. Doesn't have to be pretty; just functional.

I'm a little rusty as well, but why not as suggested extend the wire crimp on what, spade connectors? <10.00 in parts if I'm understanding your need.

I didn't know what type of connector the foglight used. I've never taken the cap off myself. I'll try that this weekend and see if I can't save some money by doing it myself...

Thanks for the infos
