Q45 Tb?

I was going through the junkyards here in indy and latley there have been a crap load of maximas so I was looking through the Import side of the yard and I found a Q45. Looked at the motor and the TB is perfect. It's not even dirty inside. If I happened to get it and put it on my I30 what would benefit from it? Besides it being so damn big I could put my fist into it. Let me know what your opinion is guys.

Damn thing is huge, IIRC close to 90mm. I'd rather use a land rover MAF housing and work my way to the engine (TB). Get a PFTB and be happy.

Tavarish let me know how it goes and your set up the more pictures the better. I plan on doing this on friday before I got to Midnight Madness and run for the very first time since my 5 spd. swap.

moot point, but tavarish has a 3.5L. Think about getting a larger MAF housing(porting in the case of the A32) whoever does this.

Unless you have any means to correct & monitor AFR accordingly, don't touch it(MAF).

But if you do, make it smooth(step sanding)

maybe better throttle response, I don't really see a point unless you were boosted... but I could be wrong.
