My left headlight went out the other day so i check it, the whole connection from the bulb to the wires is burnt, not burnt like hey i can fixi t burnt, i mean a pile of melted plastic burnt. all the connections are done for including the bulb, tell me what i need to fix this. Thanks.

This happened to my car when I used some crappy Nokya bulbs off ebay. They lasted a day and a half before they melted the bulb base and harness. I ended up replacing the harness with a better one and got different bulbs.

you are using a high wattage bulb on a connector designed to handle 55w change yur harness and should be fine(for a while again)

I would get some high temp harnesses for the headlights autzone or pepboys should have them for under $20

The stock wiring is not meant to handle the high voltage of the start-up for your HID kit (assuming from your sig). After you replace your stock wiring use relays and wire your HID's directly to the battery.

This will allow you to control the lights with the stock switch, but draw power from the battery instead of through the stock harness.

I had the nokya bulbs before i think that's what might have done it. but went to autozone and got some new bulb sockets and they work fine now. thanks.

Yes, a really high wattage bulb will do that as well.

if your using those... (HID XENON FILLED) halogen blue bulbs... stop usign them...

and if ur not hten u have bad gorund...
