Hey, I changed out my rear blinker bulbs for LED's and now it is blinking VERY fast. Anyone know why or how to change it?

I know nothing about LED's but my wife's Jeep had that problem with bulbs and it was a short between the bulb and the harness.

BEJAY1: I did the same and here is what I id to correct the problem and get the LED bulbs back to the normal speed. Very easy to do. Buy one for each side and install. Problem solved.

LEDs dont draw as much power.... so it doesn't have to build energy for it to light up an LED... I wouldn't mind having a fast blinking turn signal, as long they are LEDs (fast on and off, instead of phasing out and on)

You just install a load resistor on each side of the car? Or each bulb? I replaced front and rear signals with LEDs and the website is telling me to add a resistor at each bulb. Is that right? Or do I just install a resistor on each side at only one bulb?

Thanx. I finally got the lights out of the back and I just got back from Radio Shack with resistors. Didn't want to wait for em to come from the online store. Don't know wtf I was thinking, but I came home with .50 Ohm 5 watt resistors instead of 50 watt 6 Ohm. Wired one up and the light didnt blink at all. LOL Duh.

On my way back to Radio Shack. I'll eventually get this done.
