Climate Control question

Can someone tell me if the 97-98 Nissan Maxima Digital climate control will be a direct plug and play into a 1996 Infiniti I30?

From what I know, the buttons on the front are a little different between the two, but I would think that it may work? I am looking to replace my climate control unit which is why I am asking.

Thanks in advance for your help everyone.

Have a great day!

Come on everyone. I know someone knows this answer. Where are all the people that used to be on here that knew everything? lol Don't tell me you all got different cars and no longer need the org!

Anyway, any help would be appreciated, and the sooner I can get this answer the better. Thanks again.

Happy: I will definately do this for you. I really appreciate the help. I will take a picture of the front of each one and then take a picture of the 96 plug and email them to you tonight. Hopefully this will help.

Thank you again for your help.

Thanks for your help as well Homer

OK sorry for the dealy. Here is a link to the AC Controlls I am looking into. This is a front picture only, but in the rear of this it has the same small plug attached, but then there are two areas where plugs from the car go. Did that make sense?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

96 - 97 AC Controlls
* one plug coming off the ac controlls and plugs into car

98-99 (pictured AC Controlls)
* SAME on plug coming off the ac controlls and plugs into car
* 2 places in back of AC controlls for 2 plugs to plug into FROM car.

Thanks for your help on this.

98s are different. 95 to 97 should be interchangable. 99 is different from 98 too.

Yes, the wood grain DOES come off. It is held on by, i believe, 4 little slip like things. Basically the wood grain clides right off without having to break anything or mod anything.
