Hey guys---I bought a set of tails of ebay listed as 96-99. The guy said they were 99. I only bought them since I have the center section from a 99 and needed the tails to match up. I got them today and they look the same as my 96's except they are clear on the bottom. They are covered in sealent on the back as well. I think I just paid someone $125 for a set of cleared 96's which I already have. My car isn't here and I can't get it until Monday---can anyone tell by looking at these what year they are? I am only going by memory here---but these look the same as my stock 96's I think.

Nope. Those are 98-99's. 96-97's dont have as much of a crystal look and they also have a strip in the middle to seperate the red and white.

Yeah, that's the 96-97 OEM Cefiro Outer Tails and the price for them was $175.

No, those are not the cefiros 'OEM outer', they're the Infiniti I30 OEM ones, b/c the Cefiro A32s do not have the red piece in the corner where the clear comes through. That's the american standard, but the Cefiros overseas are cleared all the way. See pic below

In case you're all wondering, this is my uncle's A32 in China, was taken by me in a trip back in June.

Your uncle has 2nd gen Cefiro in China. The Red Clear showed above is from the very first gen Cefiro off the VIP car. So to clear everything up:

1. The photos in ebay is from 98-99 Infiniti I30 USDM
2. The photo in the 2nd thread is off JDM/Asia 1995-1997 Nissan Cefiro
3. The one's that were mentioned and is pictured in the Chinese Cefiro is for 98-2000 Cefiro's. The A33 didn't appear in Asia until late 2000 as 2001 model.

Man! That's one sexy tail!!! How was it done?? I want that tail to, I just LOVE the flip up part on the trunk, looks a little BMW like, but with those tails even better! I think however that I would have gone with a US spec Maxima taillight conversion, those dudes have hot taillights, especially those carbon fibre tails.

Well, there are actually Cefiro A32s with this type of grille in Asia (which I kinda like exept I wouldn't get it since it has Nissan as the emblem, no offense, but I wouldn't put that on my Infiniti)


are these the European Maxima's grille?


And I think only true Japanese Cefiros came with the JDM one-piece headlights, like this:

yup thats the grill I got. Mine's painted black tho and I took the ugly nissan hamburger off. I didnt like the chrome look anyway
