Manual swap, youll never regret it. I wasnt expecting much from my swap, but its like night and day. Its soo fun and powerful. Totally worth it. My I30 was my 1st auto and last. Last 4 cars were stick. It is worth it. I bought my 20th AE new from dealer for $1900.

HAHA! did you even read the date on the OP? I30DS has had his car supercharged for a LOONNNGGG time. well over a year and a half.

yea sorry would have helped with more info. have a 96 i30 auto. heard good and bad about stillens sc. are there any other options ?

reminds me of the movie torque where dude says to the two guys in begining of the movie what is it about driving cars that makes u such *** holes

2nd. there is a SECTION dedicated to Superchargers and Turbochargers, if you bothered to read you would have seen this.

And converted to stick, IIRC he ended up using a brand new VLSD tranny as well, I used to always envy his car, now having owned a supercharged 4th gen I want so bad to boost my I30. Both stick, gotta have stick. I was driving a slushbox '01 that I turbo'd recently and was very disappointed in the failing auto tranny.
