Heated seat switch light

My driver's side heated seat switch light went so it doesn't light up when the heated seat is on. Is it hard to change? What bulb do I need? As I recall from my old car it was a pain in the *** (had to lift whole console), is it the same for this? Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Re: Heated seat switch light

The heated seat switch is easy to replace, on a 98 model all you have to do is to lift out the center console piece which is made up of the cupholders and push out the switches. Then all you have to do is disconnect the harness which connects the swtich. As for the lights inside the switch, from what I remember seeing when I tried to take my dad's 96 apart is that the bulb is integrated to the circuit board so it is not replaceable. It may be different on the 98 but I doubt it. Hope this helps
