I30/I35 question....

Sorry if this has been discussed, and if it has, mods feel free to delete it. I dont own either car, but was wondering what the differences between the two are. Thanks!

3 liters compared to 3.5 liters. Hence I30 and I35.

I-30 vs I-35

As I30tMikeD said, the engines are the major difference. The I-30's are rated at 227HP, and the I-35's at 255HP. Also, the I-30's are 2000 and 2001 Model years only. The I-35's are 2002 and 2003 Model years only. Don't know for sure if there will be a 2004 I-35. All kinds of rumers right now.

There are some other minor differences, but these are the major ones.

In my opinion, either one is a great car....

the instrument cluster is also different. 00-01 I30s have insturment cluster that looks kinda like that of Maximas(except they're much brighter electro-luminecent ones) but the 02-03 I35s have a totally different design(ones with speedo in the middle)

front radiator grill is also different.
I30=Vertical grill
I35=Parallel grill

rear tail light and trunk design changed a little bit. they come with different style 17inch rims. i think they also changed stereo headunit design to incorporate the in-dash 6 disc cd changer.
