I need a price list too...

...I will be needing that for my next oil change (AT transmission and engine fluid) and, if it's available, shipping cost to Milwauke, WI 53202.

Thanks!

I am interested can you send me a price list. Specifically for a manual transmission.

Also, I am guessing this is an alternative to the Redline stuff?

The gear oil is an alternative to Redline's MT-90. I have used both now and honestly prefer Amsoil, though I do like watching the Redline pour

I did not get it through either mail system! Could be my iwon.com email account.
Do you mind sending it brandons@entouch.net?

Thanks,

Hmmm. There must be an issue with the sites email/PM system somewhere I re-sent the info to the people who asked for it. If you still have not received it please contact me at info@mdvsynthetics.com and I'll get the information to you.

I would, except that according to Amsoil's internet policy for us, the only prices I am allowed to post on a public forum are full retail. Any discounts must be handled privately. I really don't feel like rocking the boat, so if that's the waay they want, I'll play along.

Engine oil

Hi there,
I am interested in the engine oil. Hwoever, there are like 5 different types of oil to choose from just for passanger cars. Anyways, plese let me know what is the difference and which would probably be the best for a 2k2 maxima. I noticed some oils will last 20k mi, is it true? Please send me the informations. Thanks in advance. keep up the good work.

You have mail.

The available oils are:

1. Full Synthetic Motor Oil for passenger cars. What I use and recommend

2. XL7500 Full Synthetic Motor Oil, which is similar to the regular synthetic, but it has a lowere phosphorus content and a slightly different additive package. It's maximum recommended drain interval is 7500 miles.

3. There is also oil available for racing applications

4. There is an oil specifically for diesel engines

5. There is also a synthetic blend available

Want oil but have some ?

Can the intervals be extended even if you have a SC and the oil requires that you change it more frequently than Naturally Aspirated Maxima's? I would be interested, but I just mainly need that question answered for now.

I don't have any experience with SC'd Maxima's, so I can't recommend that you extend the intervals without using oil analysis to help you figure out how long you could go safely. Certainly, you will not be able to extend the intervals as far as someone could with an NA engine, but you probably could extend them some. I don't want to throw a number at you since I have no real experince with them, but by using oil analysis, you could get a great idea of how stressed your engine is and how long you could use the oil for.
