So I'm under my car with the collars in hand along with the SE chassis stiffening plates that I was going to install on my car (that SE's have to remove to install the collars), and there's a bit of a problem. It looks like the collars will fit just fine with the SE plates, but I also have a stage 2 LTB on my car, and that's where the problems arise.

It looks like if we install the rear collars it will space the LTB down so far that it will be impossible to reinstall the front of the LTB due to the lower control arm shafts nuts being at an angle.

As you know this tie bar recesses the front lower control arm nuts into the bar.

I can barely get a chrome socket in to the hole to engage the lower control arm nuts. As is, it's already difficult to reinstall the LTB, and it looks like these washers will make the problem worse. Additionally, it looks like if we installed the collars and somehow got the LTB to reinstall it would then cause the front LCA bushing to bind.

So the question I have for everyone: can these collars be made to work with a LTB? Are these even necessary if I have the LTB already?

Are they still available for $89.01?

I will be replacing my LCAs and sway bar end links next week so might as well add them on.

I look like the Stg 2 tie bar can't be used with the collars. Just take it off and install collars since they actually keep the subframe from moving, tie bar doesn't. Or turn it into Stg 1!

More sets available!, yup so far everyone has been happy with them! If your lower rad support is rusted, make sure to use penetrating lubricant and soak the bolts well before you try to take them off the subframe to mount the collars!

You've been payal'd.

I can't wait to get these on along with some new ball joints, poly filled motor mounts, ES sway bar, control arm, and end links. My suspension sucks!

Doesn't seem to work too well as 95maxrider posted pics, most of the collars will fit but not all, The LTB works but its overall effect is probably reduced if the subframe bushings are trash like most 4th gens are by now.

Don't know if the group deal is done (pretty sure it is), but how much are these for the 4th gen at the moment?

I have an Infiniti I30... going to replace complete suspension, if possible.

Quick question,

When installing these, do the wheels have to be suspended? Can these be installed on a 4 post lift (with the wheels still on of course)?

Hey Carnal, I received the collars today! Thanks so much! I'll let you know how it goes when I get them installed on Nov 1st!

On a side note, USPS must be real slow in updating tracking numbers, it still says that only the electronic info was received when I enter the tracking number lol.

Can I please get an answer? I'd like to install these and post a review, but can't w/o some help first.

Then I'll be purchasing the 4th Gen Delrin Control Arm Bushing Set.
