That's not a kit we've ever sold.

We know where it comes from, but we've never sold that.

If you need one, our kits are compatible most likely with those if you just need parts or want to get a whole new kit.

Hi. I'd like to buy 9006 55w kit. How much is it and are the bulbs 55W also or just the ballasts?

Umnitza, I sent back the incorrect bulbs I received, and according to Fedex, you received them 10/13. Please send me the 3000k H3's I originally requested. You have e-mail as well if you check that sooner.

Umnitza, I have emailed and PM'ed you multiple times, please respond to my issue. I know Umnitza is a quality company and this minor issue is overcasted by dozens of positive feedback reports from other customers. Regardless, I am a paying customer and expect at least decent customer service, which I don't believe I've received thus far. PLEASE take care of, or refer someone to take care of this issue. I am tired of being ignored.

To keep the paperwork recorded, here is a copy of the email I sent you, as you requested (since you stated you couldn't resolve my issue via PM).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My name is xxxxxxx xxxxx-xxxxxxx. Address is:
xxxx xxxxxxx Drive
xxxx xxxxxxxxxx, xx
xxxxx.

I ordered a 9003 6k and H3 3k set about two weeks ago. I was mistakenly sent 6k H3's instead of the 3k H3's I ordered. Via email, I was instructed to send back the bulbs/harness for the right ones. My email is xxxxxxxxxxxxx@aol.com. The return was sent via Fedex, tracking#468401310096798 and received by "MUMNITZA" on Oct 13, 2009 at 10:28am.

I am, and have been waiting on the correct bulbs to arrive (for the second time around) for 9 days. I need the H3 3k bulb/harness sent to me ASAP. Please let me know what the status of this exchange is.

OK. I appreciate the help Umnitza. I finally received the bulbs I ordered (referenced in my quoted post below). But they are blown. You have a PM and email from me. I hope you can take care of this issue speedily.

Hi Umnitza.
I am very disappointed in the service and the order.
I placed my order on 10/27 for a slim 3000k H11 kit. I paid you 85 dollars promptly.
You provided me with tracking # the next day. Great. However the order was not shipped. . After going back and forth through e-mails it was determined that the order might have gotten lost in the mail and you were going to ship me another kit right away.
I asked you to provide me with a second tracking #. Have not heard back since.
Last night i decided to check the first tracking # and what do you know the order was sent out on november 9th and finally i recieved it today.
Unfortunatly you have sent me a totally wrong kit.
As i mentioned above. i paid 85 dollars and ordered a 3000k H11 slim kit.
What came in the plain white cardboard box was a 8000k h11 regular kit.
Please refund me my money or correct the issue.
I have ordered stuff from you before since 2003 and never head a problem...
Whats going on?

Your facts aren't exactly accurate.
The original order was shipped and we had issued a trace. We were at SEMA all last week and we didn't even ship anything on the 9th (our first day back), so there is no way that anything was shipped on that date that the USPS is providing.

next time, just contact us directly via email so we can resolve this, since you did get the product, and it's the wrong type of bulb, it's really easy to just send back the bulbs and we'll replace them for you without fail.

I am basing my facts on the USPS tracking # of the order. Please see below.
Arrival at Post Office, November 11, 2009, 6:50 am, BROOKLYN, NY 11214
Processed through Sort Facility, November 11, 2009, 1:56 am, BETHPAGE, NY 11714
Processed through Sort Facility, November 09, 2009, 11:35 pm, OAKLAND, CA 94615
Electronic Shipping Info Received, October 28, 2009

i was told i that you are going to ship a second set since at the time of the conversation (nov. 5) there was still no word on the first set. Also at the same time i asked your company to provide me with a tracking # for the second shipment. I tried to handle this directly through e-mail asking you for the tracking # on two separate dates. I have not gotten a response to either of the request. I tried to handle this by "contacting you directly though e-mail" and it did not work.

Also, You are correct that i got the product but i received the wrong product and its not just incorrect bulbs. It is also incorrect ballast. Please see previous post.
In my order i did specify 3000k H11 slim kit. Even the shipping label on the box states H11 3k slimmer kit but I received 8000k H11 Regular kit.

My Disappointing experience with Umnitza:

I have ordered this 55w kit a week before they dropped their price to this now $50. I can manage that, I paid $85 for their kit. I have since replaced one ballast since I've had the kit for less then a month at the time. I first did not get a response to any emails at all, for 3 days. Only when I posted in their for sale thread did I get a response. I then had to ship it back to them for another $10, it got there on a Saturday, so they worked on it Monday. They did not ship it back out till that Friday of that week. I finally received it, hoping I would never have to deal with them again. SO guess what happens to me tonight on the way home? The other ballast goes out. This kit is now about 2-3 months old. Not too mention these bulbs are only 35watts, they are just having you overdrive 35watt bulbs.

I will be posting this on other sections of the forum.

As an FYI to anyone else, I ordered another kit for my Fogs off ebay on the Monday they finally received my package...I got it the next day, in a very nice box (compared to your cheap crushable envelope flat rate Umnitza sends it in), and the kit only cost $45 and still have to have any problems with it. They also have sent me emails to make sure I was happy making sure it still worked and Reminding me I had a 1 year Warranty on it in case something did.

Composed a review/feedback thread for Umnitza's products. I felt the need to be the first to post in the thread with my first hand experiences. Take a look:

Sent you an email, and never heard back...

Do you have the 55w kit with digital ballasts, or only analog?

Are they a slow start ballast?

Do these require a seperate harness/relay set up?

If you do stock a 55w digital slim kit, what is the price shipped to 98516?

ok so i emailed you (Umnitza) to resolve the issue through email like you asked but havent heard back.
Thats the reason i had to come to the forum in the first place. It seams that thats the only way you respond is if i write here.
Anyway.
I paid for the 3k slim kit 85 bucks. and you sent me a 55w 8000k kit with regular big ballasts. I am not spending any more money shipping anything back and forth.
Reimburse me the 35 dollars for the difference and i don't ever want to deal with you again.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize that they were such a "problem child" company. Should have figured as I have emailed them, and posted in this thread and still have yet to hear back from them.

Will be ordering elsewhere.

The reason we have not responded til today is that we sold out of every 55W kit - rather unexpectedly.

We have many in stock now and ready to ship, same prices as before.

For the issues that arose, all are addressed and/or being resolved, we never leave people in the dark (pun intended)..

As a general rule of recommendation: please take 1 minute to email us instead of posting about an issue, while this is a way to keep negative stuff from infiltrating the threads it is also a way to give people the benefit of the doubt to help you out.

Here's a small list of the happy customers we've had on the forums:

in that situation, other companies would have called, e-mailed their customers to inform them of the delay(I know the company that I bought my HID's from has done that in the past).

We let our customers know their orders are delayed - which they were not.

We did not reply to prospects because we do not like to be in "pre-order" mode on too many orders.

A simple email would go a looooooooooooong way in customer service. Companies not responding to emails **** people off. I haven't ordered anything from you, but just reading the forum over the last couple years has turned me off. Also, being honest will go a long way. ex - I order something from an ebay seller in October, due to the shipping company, the product didn't arrive until this past Saturday, but the seller stayed in constant contact with me and offered many options to rectify the situation. I was more than willing to extend my patience. Also, being honest and letting the customer decide will help.

It annoys me to see you and other HID sellers lying to customers about your 55 watt kit bulbs. The bulbs are just regular 35 watt HID bulbs boosted using the higher wattage ballasts. Unless you guys are re-basing DL50 bulbs, which I know you aren't because then the kits wouldn't be so cheap.

I'm not here to tarnish your record, just saying that lack of proper customer service will make you lose potential customers. Best of luck on future sales.

exactly the way i feel, which is why i prefer to deal with other companies that don't give me a run around. The company i order my HID kits from once couldn't ship out the regular 55W ballasts to me(they ran out) so they upgraded me to the digital slim ballasts at no cost to me(took a couple of days extra to send). Also, they informed many prospective buyers that there were going to be delayed, in both e-mails(an acquaintance informed me of this), and internet forums. On the bulb part you are correct, as the DL50s are about $150 new I believe. there are reasons why kit bulbs shouldn't be overdriven, but this is neither the place or time to be discussing that(because the results differ, and many may not see ill effects).

Hey umnitza,

Been a while since I posted here (and it looks like everyone's STILL up to the same ol' "let-me-bash-a-seller" stuff that turned me away from the org-y in the first place - but I digress...), but I was able to send the bad ballast off to you back in October - but I think you may have missed the post about it because you started a new thread (see the thread titled "$50 HID - yes you heard right") right around then.

I probably should've contacted you beforehand - so I'm sorry in that regard. I did, however, leave my return shipping address and contact info inside the box I shipped it in, though. I was just wondering if you received it yet?

**And as a side note, I've been a member of the .org-y since back in it's BBS heyday and I've YET to see a company that has not had some type of customer service 'snafu' - no matter how good of a product they sell. And if you find a company that does not fit that catagory, I challenge anyone to look a little deeper and see just how 'legit' that company is.

So while I'm not here to try and defend Umnitza as a company (they're adults - they can defend themselves), I just felt compelled to question why one would go on a public forum and, on the one hand, disparage a company for something that did not involve them directly, then on the other hand inject that they are NOT trying to 'tarnish' their record? That is just a bit contradictory, isn't it??

I can give you a whole laundry list of companies I've witnessed on the .org-y the past few years that I'll NEVER do business with. But I'm not about to give them the smackdown because I don't like the way they did so-and-so. If anything, I just say to myself "Caveat Emptor", MAYBE remind everyone involved to take their issue private, then move on to the next thread.

But to borrow a line from Mr. Blue Sky, 'this is neither the place or time to be discussing that'.

In stock if you need D2S upgrade or do you need actual xenon and your car didn't have it?
