Thanks Bishnu! I didn't want you getting soaked in the rain in order to test fit these!

Can I send you a Tshirt or anything? Beer Coozies? Embroidered NWP hat? Stickers? I really appreciate all your help. It was nice meeting you at MAXUS 09! Hope to see you next year!

It sound like Aaron's parent will get my money again. Lol

BTW: I have install the Thermal phenolic spacer on my 2k1 yesterday, it took me about an hour since I wanted to port mach the 3 spacers, it was done like a charm. I use an air die grinder along with cartridge rolls like this one:

All in all it was a very smooth material to work with and it was not hot at all after porting. I used a high temp silicon to keep the UIM spacer in place while installing the upper intake manifold.

Thank again Aaron for a great product. I will soon order the engine torque link bracing kit.

Special thanks to secondtonone317 for being the guinea pig for us 2k-2k1 owner.

Yeah, sand paper cartridge rolls are the best to use from Standard Abrasives or Summit Racing. I have a huge assortment of them that I use for all my headwork and intake port work. The 80 grit works great on the NWP phenolic spacer material. Just do not breath in the fine powder.

I'm glad the install went ok. Thanks for the update!

But, sometime there is a but.... Few days ago I was cleaning some parts using paint thinner, for a reason I can justified, I didn't put glove wich I always do normally, but I guess because I was just putting a bit of thinner on a rag to clean it seem that I didn't care to take the precaution of putting gloves.

Long story short I have intoxicated myself, so the last 2-3 days I had violent headache, yesterday alone I had to take 8 x 500MG aspirine to get rid of the headache, today I'm feeling better but I'm still tired after a good night of sleep. This morning I called my friend ( he's a doctor ) and he confirmed that thinner and similar solvent are quickly absorb true the hand skin and get in your entire system, it could take anything between a couple of days to a couple of months to evacuate from the body.

A person in good health would probably see his immune system get rid of the toxine in few days, but someone who's health is a little fragile can suffer months before getting back to his normal state. I hate myself for doing such a stupid thing, but I've learn a big lesson and trust me I will never ever touch any chemical without glove and breathing mask.

I hope my own mistake find you all well.

Cheers to all.

AA

Pics of it installed on my 3.0 2000 nissan maxima.
Note I am only using 3 or 4 mounting bolts because while taking off my old rusted bolts one of them snapped. I will drill it out later. I strongly suggest letting those 4 bolts soak in wd40 or some penetrating lube for a night.
On the other hand, install was very straight forward. I was amazed how effectively I was able to pull or push the motor back by tightening or loosening the tension. I just put a little bit of tension one it (pushing the motor back a little bit) and left it like that. This product plus traction bars and some nice slicks should be a nice setup.

I'm sorry, I highly doubt our Engine Torque Link will fit with an engine with a supercharger. Hopefully, the pictures secondtonone317 posted may help.

I went to my mechanic's this morning to mount a Progress RSB, and we discussed this Torque Link at length. His advice was, "Definitely."

So, it's on my list, right behind your spacers. (Yeah, I have a list.)

Will do, Aaron. Per my current schedule, it'll be early Fall for this toy. I'm planning on ordering your spacers by month end, and installation by end of August.

You know, my concern about the torque link (other than crazy vibration) was the single bolt on the top of the front engine mount. My mechanic pointed out that the stress was lateral, and therefore primarily applied through the mount bracket directly to the block. Made sense to me at the time.

I was really hoping to read some post-Maxus opinions on this tie-down arm. What's up with that? You should maybe (gently) prod your Org customers into sharing their opinions.

There are a couple happy customers posting brief reviews in this thread. And there is a larger and more thorough review in this thread:
The NWP Engineering Engine Torque Link - Interest Thread

But you may have already seen it.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

I am deploying in September for 4-6 months over to Iraq. Anyway these will be done by then and if so how much? If not, I'd like to reserve one to install once I return.

You mean for the 08 Maxima? I don't think they will be ready within the next 6 months. This particular kit took much longer to design than that. But there is a chance. Thanks.

Thank you for your review! The NWP website and installation instructions have been updated for the 4th gen Maxima.

The NWP Engineering Engine Torque Link Kit now has been confirmed to fit in the 4th gen Maxima!

So, anybody with a 95-03 Maxima is in luck! We currently have plenty of kits in stock.

In the review it doesn't say how wheel hop felt after the install. Anyone care to share their experience? Is it eliminated or dramatically reduced?

Aaron, Im a spacer customer and just saw today (not on the Org much anymore) that this product came out and Im excited! I always wanted the Jclaw traction bars but looks now like I can get these high quality pieces.

1 question though first, Im wondering if you ever plan to tweak the design at all for supercharger applications? (4th gen)

NWP Engineering Engine Torque Link Bracing Kit Installation and REVIEW!!!!!

He said that he use to have wheel hop, now he doesn't or it's not as bad as it was before. Feel free to post in the thread above and ask questions.

Thanks. Right now, we don't have any plans to produce one for a supercharged VQ. I don't see how there will be nearly enough room for any type of bar in that location. A new kit will probably need to be designed using a different location. But to be sure, I'd need to get my hands on a supercharged VQ first to see what may be possible.

We currently have a 6th gen Maxima test car lined up. We will more than likely need to design the entire kit from scratch for the 6th gen Max and Altima since the front engine mount is completely different than the other old VQs (95-03 Maximas).
